The Module
The Mushkin 1GB HP3200 module is a double-sided module with 16 DDR SDRAM chips.
It uses blue-anodised heatspreaders with the name "Mushkin" embossed on them.
The heatspreaders are held firmly with two metal clips, which almost prevents the removal of the heatspreader. The label on the module clearly states the model name - "1GB HP PC3200 DDR 2-3-2".
Please note that because this is not a high-end module, it doesn't use the Jet Black 6 Layer PCB, contrary to what was stated on the Mushkin website. It is probably an honest mistake which we hope will be corrected soon.
The back of the module is 100% identical to the front, just without the label.
The heatspreader is perfectly stuck onto every single memory chip using thermal tape.
