In their latest effort to reduce the manufacturing cost of their mouse pads while maintaining its quality, Everglide has opted for a relatively different approach in their latest series of mouse pads.

The new design approach combines several different elements together to form the mouse pad. Thus, Everglide's Gaming Mat is made up of three layers - the base, the design image and the textured surface.

The Base is made up of coarse-textured rubber while the textured surface is made of vinyl. In between the base layer and the surface layer lies the design image. The design image is no longer imprinted on the pad surface because it will eventually fade away after some time. Because the Base of this mouse pad is made of rubber, the rubber feet to keep the mouse pad in place were no longer necessary. This further reduced the overall production cost of the mouse pad.
