ED#122 : NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 Details Leaked!
It looks like many folks are expecting a good Christmas ahead. First, Western Digital launches their latest media player, the WD Elements Play with 1-2 TB of storage built-in. Then we have word that they are very close to launching the new WD TV Live model and new hard disk drives. Seagate is also expected to release their 3 TB hard disk drives in time for the Christmas season too. Now, we receive word that NVIDIA is ready to launch the GeForce GT 430 on October 11, 2010!
The NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 will be a GF108 part fabricated using the 40 nm process technology. It will have 96 stream processors and 16 ROPs. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 will be available in a variety of models with different clock speeds, but the official reference model will have a core speed of 700 MHz with a 1.7 GHz shader clock and run 900 MHz (1.8 GHz DDR) GDDR3 memory on a 128-bit wide bus. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 will be a single-slot card with dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort output options. It's expected to be priced at US$ 99 (RM 300). That would make it US$ 30 (RM 90) cheaper than the recently-launched NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450.
