Sunbeam
Sunbeam entered the field of optoelectronics as a new company in the year 2000. They specialize in developing CCFLs (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lights). Moving forward, they began developing a wider range of products and now they boast a variety of PC modding products.
Sunbeam's headquarter is located in Taipei but its manufacturing factory is located in Dongguan City, China. Sunbeam is now quite popular among PC modding enthusiasts. This isn't too surprising since they are currently one of the biggest manufacturers of PC modding products.
Packaging
Sunbeam used a transparent plastic box to package the CCFL, just like what they use to pack most of their CCFL products.
The box allows Sunbeam to display the contents clearly to the potential buyer but is also sturdy enough to protect the CCFL from damage during transportation.
The specifications, features as well as installation instructions of the CCFL tubes are clearly displayed on each side of the box. This is a good thing since no documentation is included within the box.
In The Box
These are what you can expect to find within the box :
- Two CCFLs
- One PCI back plate with switch
- One 12V inverter
- Velcro tapes for the inverter and tube end
- One screw for the PCI back plate
