The X800 Pro Ultra 2X
Here it is, the X800 Pro Ultra 2X.
X800 Pro Ultra 2X
hey.. who has the pic??how come it's not in the package??
That is an awesome looking card! Due to having two high end VPUs, ATI have to put two molex connectors. The minimum power wattage that is recommended is now 450 watts. Naturally to accomodate the two VPUs, the size of the card had to be increased too. This card definitely will have trouble with small computers (Small Form Factor Computers pop quickly in my mind) do to its increased size.
Here is a shot of the back of the card.
X800 Pro Ultra 2X Backshot (missing also, did u take it??)
On the back you can make you the eight BGA ramchips that adorn the card.
Now its time for me to take off the cooler of the X800 Pro Ultra 2X.
Here's a shot of the bare card. (dashken: eh... adrian, psykhotik... is this card for real? 2 vpu man! Woi... adrian... my birthday is coming!!!)

ATI has implemented a bridge chip for the AGP version as the card is designed as a native PCIe solution. Because of that, we should see that the scores that we get later on might be a bit lower then the PCIe version of this card. What I find interesting is that ATI has chosen to cool it all down using one mega copper cooler for the bridge chip, the two VPUs and eight of the ram chips.
