The LEAGOO Elite 4 Smartphone
The LEAGOO Elite 4 smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC with 1 GB of LPDDR3 SDRAM. Surprisingly, it is running on 64-bit Android 5.1 Lollipop, which makes for good PR but is pointless since it only has 1 GB of RAM. Like many value-segment smartphones, it comes with 16 GB of flash storage, which is good enough for
Remarkably, it sports a fully-laminated 5" IPS display, which allows for more vivid colours with greater contrast. The display has a resolution of 540 x 960 and a pixel density of 220 ppi - the same as the ASUS ZenPad 7.0. It is a very nice display at this price point.
The LEAGOO Elite 4 has a plastic back cover with a patterned texture that feels really good in the hand. As a bonus - you don't have to worry about fingerprint smears! The only downside is the stainless steel camera module - it protrudes slightly and can scratch vulnerable surfaces, catch loose threads in your pocket.
The Elite 4's back cover is detachable, allowing you to install the battery, a SIM card (or two) and a micro SD card for storage expansion. This video will show you how to do that.
For selfies, the LEAGOO Elite 4 has a 5 MP camera in the front, but for serious photography, it sports an 8 MP camera at the back with a single LED flash. The micro-USB and earphone ports are located at the top.
At the bottom of the front, you have the Quick Access, Home and Back buttons. Unlike other Android smartphones, you access the App menu with a long press of the Home button. The only buttons are on the left side - two Volume buttons and a Power button.
