This BIOS feature controls write access to the floppy drive.

Setting this BIOS feature to R/W (Read/Write) allows full access to the floppy drive. You will be able to write to floppy disks as well as read from them.

Setting this BIOS feature to Read Only prevents write access to the floppy drive. You will be able to read from floppy disks but you cannot write to them.

It is recommended that you set this BIOS feature to R/W so that you will have full access to the floppy drive. Set it to Read Only if you do not wish to provide write access to the floppy drive.
