Add-On ROM Display Mode

Common Options : Force BIOS, Keep Current

Quick Review

This BIOS feature controls the display of ROM messages from the BIOS of add-on devices like the graphics card or the SATA controller during the boot sequence.

When set to Force BIOS, third-party ROM messages will be forced to display during the boot sequence.

When set to Keep Current, third-party ROM messages will only be displayed if the third-party manufacturer had set the add-on device to do so.

It is recommended that you set this BIOS feature to Keep Current to reduce the time it takes to boot-up the system. You should only select Force BIOS for diagnostic or information purposes.
