Quick Review
This BIOS feature allows you to select the type of LCD panel connected to the motherboard's built-in graphics chip.
Before you can select the correct option, you must determine the resolution of your LCD panel as well as the type of interface it uses.
LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) covers interfaces like FPD-Link (commonly used in notebook LCD panels) and DVI (commonly used in desktop LCD panels).
CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) covers both CMOS and TTL interfaces used in older and/or lower resolution LCD panels.
You should select the value that corresponds to the LCD panel you are using. You will need to check the specifications of your LCD panel to find out what its native resolution is, as well as the type of interface it uses.
Please note that this BIOS feature is only valid if you are attaching a LCD panel to the integrated graphics chip on your motherboard. It has no effect if you are powering your LCD panel using a separate graphics card.
