Quick Review

This BIOS feature allows you to cordon off specific memory blocks (xxxx-xxxx) to shadow the BIOS of certain add-on cards. This improves the performance of cards that are accessed and controlled through their BIOS, as opposed to drivers. Currently, this is mostly limited to bootable network cards.

For most users, there is absolutely no need for this feature as modern operating systems directly access hardware through drivers. Shadowing your device's BIOS will just waste memory. Therefore, it is recommended that you disable this feature.
