Removing The Screws From The Base
1. Flip the Aspire One over and release the battery lock by pushing it to the left. Then push the spring-loaded battery release switch to the right and pull out the battery.
2. You will see three screws lying at the bottom of the battery compartment. Remove them and keep them in the container you prepared.
3. Just next to the battery compartment are two rubber feet. Use the flat head screwdriver to carefully remove them. This will reveal two additional screws which you should also remove. Deposit the rubber feet and screws into your container.
4. Turn the Aspire One netbook around and remove these three screws on the other end. Again, keep them in your container.
