The Press Conference
Halfway through the preview, we attended a brief press conference for the media. It was held to clarify issues like pricing, availability as well as upgrade options.

Mr. Cheong Yuk Wai, of MyBiz Solution Sdn. Bhd. was also at hand to detail his personal experience with Vista, Office and Exchange Server as a Microsoft partner, and how they have allowed him to provide better solutions for his clients.
Windows Vista SKUs
For those of you who are still confused by the different versions of Windows Vista, here is a table that breaks down the major features and differences of those SKUs. Do note though that no matter which version you buy, the DVD will contain all the files required for Vista Ultimate. Your registration key determines which version is installed.

As announced by Microsoft, if you buy Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition or Windows XP Media Center Edition, or a PC running those operating systems from October 26th, 2006 until March 15th, 2007, you will entitled to a free upgrade to Windows Vista Business or Windows Vista Enterprise.
