The Samsung Galaxy Note5 Phablet

When you hold the Samsung Galaxy Note5 phablet for the first time, you will notice immediately how different it is from its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 4. It ditches faux leather plastic for the metal and glass build of the Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 edge smartphones. As a result, it feels real solid and looks really classy.

The Samsung Galaxy Note5 phablet comes in four different colours - Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Silver Titan and White Pearl. This example is the Gold Platinum, which was the most popular colour for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. You can see the design influence of the Galaxy S6 edge in the curved sides of the Galaxy Note5's back.

There are two Volume buttons on the left side of the Galaxy Note5. They double as shutter buttons when the camera is activated. On the right side is a single button - the Power button. When held longer, it allows you to power off or reboot the Galaxy Note5, or switch to Flight Mode or Emergency Mode.

The SIM card tray is located at the top of the Galaxy Note5. Unfortunately, they could not fit the earphone port there as well. It's located at the bottom, together with the micro-USB port, the microphone ports, and the S Pen slot.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 edge, the Galaxy Note5 will also boast a fingerprint sensor and wireless charging capability. It also reused the same task and back buttons that appears when you tap them, and then discreetly disappears.
