The OCZ PC2-6400 Gold DDR2 dual-channel memory kit comes in a simple plastic retail package. It shows the two modules clearly in the front of the package.

While such plastic packaging is very suitable for retail display, it does not offer enough protection to the memory modules during delivery. Therefore, additional packaging is required for safe delivery by mail.

The package was not sealed, so it was very easy to open it and get to the contents.
