Size Comparison
To give you an idea of how big (and small) it is, we compared it against an NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT reference card and an ASUS GeForce 8800 GTX.
As you can see, the Sparkle GeForce 8600 GTS is actually shorter than the GeForce 7900 GT. So, no need to worry about fitting it into your small case.
Connectors
Even though it's a mid-range graphics card, the GeForce 8600 GTS sucks enough power that it requires a separate 6-pin power cable. Like many other graphics cards, the power connector is placed on the far end of the card.
The card comes with two dual-linked DVI ports on the back plate. If you need to connect to a monitor that uses the 15-pin VGA port, you can use the included DVI-to-VGA converter to convert any one of the two DVI ports into a VGA-out port. There is also a TV-out port for those who want to display out to a TV.
