The Event
The emcee of the event was Cheryl Samad. She was exactly like what she was on Malaysian Idol - pretty, friendly and articulate.

The event started with Cheryl giving a short overview of the launch and Intel's objectives.

After that, she handed it off to Intel Malaysia's marketing manager, Alvin Phey, who gave us the low-down on the whole Intel campaign.
It is quite an extensive media campaign. So, I will just summarize it for you in this article.
Intel's PR Manager, Norhizam Kadir was also there to add a little jazz to the event.
Okay, let me break down Intel Malaysia's new campaign into easily-digestible bits.
The campaign comprises of five different programmes :
- Centrino experience zones at selected Starbucks outlets
- Unique Intel concept of being "unwired" at selected mamak stalls
- Intel notebook bag design competition
- Channel V contests
- BeFree.com.my contests
