Although the attack surface area remains large, the AMD Secure Processor allows for better security not just from the hardware perspective, but also the larger number of partners and software developers that can develop better security measures to address new types of security attacks.

John Hampton then took over to address the new opportunities that the new AMD PRO 6th Generation A-Series Processor offers - specifically the opportunity to "get more".

Because AMD is able to offer their APUs at a much lower price point, AMD is encouraging their partners to look at more than just cutting prices. They can make use of the lower price point to create richer configurations, like switching from a HDD to an SSD, or upgrading the amount of memory in the PC.

Here is an example of how the lower price of the AMD PRO A12-8800B processor allows you to get a "free upgrade" of double the RAM and an SSD. This gives you a much faster system than it would be the case with their competitor's costlier processor.
