IOPS Scaling (Random)
In these tests, we tested the drive's ability to tackle multiple input/output operations. We compared the 6 TB Western Digital Green (WD60EZRX) to the 6 TB Western Digital Red (WD60EFRX). For more performance comparisons, please take a look at The Hard Disk Drive Performance Comparison Guide.
Both drives were virtually identical in their simultaneous random access performance. The most significant difference was seen with large random writes, but even that was in the region of 2-3%.
