The Completed MiniPak Battery Extender
Here's a picture of the completed MiniPak battery extender connected to my Casio E-115 Pocket PC :-
Notes
- The battery holder has open contacts on its top and bottom. You will need
to cover it up with something non-conductive. Otherwise, the keys or coins
in your pocket may cause a short-circuit by connecting any two of the open
contacts.
- To completely prevent any danger of short-circuits, it's best to cover all
open contacts on the battery holder and keep the battery holder in a small
pouch.
- This battery extender can be used for practically anything else that uses
a DC power supply via a power jack. So, feel free to use it with your Palm
PDA, Walkman or portable CD player.
- The total weight of the MiniPak battery extender with four AA-sized NiCad rechargeable batteries (but without their charger) is 125 grams.
