Much like recent Zalman products, the VF700-AlCu came in a transparent plastic box, which is great for retail display but doesn't really protect the cooler from damage. Most unfortunate. Who wants to buy this beautiful cooler only to find that it has bent fins?

Stamp
The package is quite difficult to open without using additional tools. The package was sealed by two 'stamps' at the top. I had to use a Swiss army knife to pry open the box. Fortunately, I didn't cut myself this time, unlike what happened during the ZM80D-HP review.

If your graphics card has 16 memory chips, then you will need to get eight more RAM heatsinks, which go under the model of ZM-RHS1. But most high-end cards use only 8 memory chips per card, so this should not a big issue for most people.
