In this real world test of business applications, the 1 TB Seagate Laptop SSHD slaughtered its HDD-only competitors, delivering more than twice the performance of the 7,200 RPM Western Digital Scorpio Black hard disk drives. When compared to regular 5400 RPM notebook drives, like the 1 TB WD Blue Slim (WD10SPCX) and the 1 TB WD Blue (WD10JPVT), it proved to be more than 2.5x faster.
