In this shot of the underside of a lamp, the Apple iPhone 6 produced the best shot, with the most accurate colours. The Samsung Galaxy S6 was underexposed, while the ASUS ZenFone 2 was more vivid, albeit with less well-defined lines.

Lamp (A Closer Look)
In the closer examination of the center of the lamp, the Apple iPhone 6 had the best definition despite its lower resolution sensor. This is probably because its sensor has larger 2 µm pixels, allowing it to produce less noisy pictures. We can see more pronounced edge sharpening effect on the iPhone 6 than the other two smartphones. Unfortunately, the ASUS ZenFone 2 performed poorly in this test. The edges and shadows were soft and noisy.
In the examination of the rim of the lamp, the Samsung Galaxy S6 produced a sharper image, despite the shallower depth of field from its wider aperture. The Apple iPhone 6 had blurry edges but this was even more pronounced in the ASUS ZenFone 2.

The Apple iPhone 6 had the most accurate colour, followed by the ASUS ZenFone 2 with a yellowish hue. The Samsung Galaxy S6 was oddly enough produced a sharper but washed-out picture.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 was top-notch in sharpness and detail, with the ASUS ZenFone 2 in second place, thanks to their higher-resolution sensors. The Apple iPhone 6, on the other hand, had the greatest depth of field, while the ZenFone 2 had the narrowest.

On close examination, we can see that the Apple iPhone 6 had sharper but noisier edges. The Samsung Galaxy S6, on the other hand, had softer but cleaner edges. The ASUS ZenFone 2 produced particularly noticeable edge noise artifacts.
