The Packaging

Unlike other manufacturers, Corsair sent the TwinX modules to us in their retail display packaging. Most manufacturers sending memory modules via mail wouldn't have bothered with retail packaging.

Although this plastic retail package says 1Gbyte, the two memory modules we received were 256MB in size. Evidently, they shipped the wrong packaging to us. Too bad it wasn't the other way around!

Of course, the package was shipped in a sturdy box. Otherwise, it would never have survived "treatment" by courier service!
