Maximize The Use Of Your Desktop Space (Cont.)
Notice the white lines on the screen? Those are the grids that you defined. They will show up when you drag any window.
All you need to do is move and hover your window over the desired zone. The duration you need to keep the window over the zone depends on the "time to hover before sizing" option.
Once that time has passed, the window will automatically assume the same size as the grid zone. You can now let go of the mouse button. The white grid lines will also disappear.
You might want to exit ZoneSize after resizing your windows. It can get pretty annoying when it activates the grids when you are just dragging windows that you don't want resized. However, you can always put those windows in the exception list.
ZoneSize is not only useful in the horizontal spanning mode. It is also useful with the extended desktop mode since it allows you to resize your window to any size you want. Multi-monitor management utilities, on the other hand, only allow you to maximize the window according to the full resolution of a particular monitor.
