Wet-Sanding The North Bridge

Here are some of the pictures I took during the process. Enjoy and please do not try this at home!

First, I taped the area around the north bridge. This protects the surface mounted components and the motherboard's PCB from the sanding paper.

Getting ready for the 'operation'.

I also taped all the expansion slots and connectors to protect the exposed contact points from the dust when I sand the north bridge.

With all that set, I proceeded to sand down the north bridge.
