Unboxing The Early 2015 Apple MacBook Pro

The long-awaited Early 2015 refresh of the 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display brought with it significant improvements, even while it maintained the same unibody design.

While most pundits already predicted an upgrade to the 5th Generation Intel Core processor (codenamed Broadwell), its attendant Iris Graphics 6100 graphics processor and a longer battery life, no one expected the Early 2015 MacBook Pro to also feature the new Force Touch trackpad and a much faster SSD.

What's Inside The Box?

The 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2015) came in a nondescript plain brown box. Nothing fancy. The actual retail box is nestled within, protected from vibration, bumps and worse by four hard cardboard spacers. Despite being tossed around all the way from the Songjiang Export Processing Zone in Shanghai, China, the box of our 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2015) arrived in pristine condition.

Gaining access to the MacBook Pro itself is easy - just tear off the shrink wrap and lift off the top of the box, and voilà! - the latest 13" Apple MacBook Pro, sitting in a plastic tray.

Lift the MacBook Pro up by pulling on the clear plastic tab, and you will see the included accessories below.
