The GeForce 7900 GT
The GeForce 7900 GT is essentially a slower version of the GeForce 7900 GTX. Targeted at the ATI Radeon X1800 XL and X1800 GTO, the GeForce 7900 GT will boast a target price range of USD 249 to USD 399.
Take a look at its basic specifications :

The GeForce 7900 GT will support SLI, but not Quad SLI. It will also feature a smaller thermal solution. Let's take a look.
The cooler is evidently much smaller than that used in the GeForce 7900 GTX. You can see all eight GDDR3 memory chips arranged around the GPU on the front PCB. Just like the GeForce 7900 GTX, there's nothing on the back.
If you take a look at the picture on the right, you can see that the cooler is a single slot solution. The cooler does not exhaust air out the bracket. Instead, the bracket features just the single HDTV-out connector and two DVI ports.

Both the GeForce 7900 GTX and the GeForce 7900 GT are actually VERY similar. They have the same number of vertex units and pixel shader units. The only differences between the two models are the core and memory clock speeds, frame buffer size and thermal solution.
