It's simple and easy to use and has above-average playback quality. It also offers a large capacity of 5GB in a very compact package and that includes an internal lithium-ion battery! Its glass-fronted design with inverted display LCD certainly makes it stand out as a unique-looking player, if not one of the best-looking audio players in the market. But it lacks features and its audio output may be a little insufficient for some users. It could also do with a better battery life and a better docking cradle. Needless to say, the built-in limitations of the m:trip software as well as the player's inability to display long filenames is a big turn-off. So, if you are looking for a small, stylish digital audio player with simple controls and basic features, you should take at least a look at the Olympus m:robe MR-100.
