Let The Event Begin!
Soon after the boat cast off, Samsung Malaysia began the event with a short keynote speech on the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge by Mr. Luke Au, Head of Product Marketing, Mobile Business, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
This was followed immediately by a special "launch gambit"... I wished they warned us in advanced though! 
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge launch event featured a high-speed boat chase to officially usher in the arrival of the Galaxy Note Edge phablet!

And now, it's time to officially launch the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge here in Malaysia!

Although it was launched together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on the 3rd of September, 2014, Samsung Malaysia has only recently made the Galaxy Note Edge available here. The two models are very similar in design and features, with the main difference being the Note Edge's display curves along the right edge, providing an additional 160-pixel wide display.
