The NVIDIA Tegra 650 In Action
This is a Mobile Internet Device based on an Intel x86 processor (pre-Atom). NVIDIA showed that it could not even play a 720p video clip properly and yet, it used up 12-13 watts of power. Deducting about a watt for the display, that meant the processor and RAM uses about 11-12 watts of power.

NVIDIA's prototype (based on a notebook) only used 1.2 to 1.3 watts to properly display a 1080p video. That meant the processor and RAM only used about 0.7 watts of power. Apparently, this is because the Intel x86 processor needs 2 GB of RAM while the ARM11 processor makes do with just 256 MB.
