8GB Pocket Hard Drive

Seagate will be updating its Pocket Hard Drive family with a new addition - the 8GB Pocket Hard Drive!

Like all Pocket Hard Drives, this new model will allow you to carry a tremendous amount of personal storage at very low cost. Best of all, it uses the same innovative shell design with an integrated USB connector.

The Pocket Hard Drive will also come with Secure Zone software that allows you to create partitions, and secure them with a password. Very useful if you have data that you do not wish to share with others.

The new Pocket Hard Drive will debut in the third quarter of 2006 with a capacity of 8GB.

Here is a list of its key features :

  • Carries up to 133 hours of digital music, 2560 digital photos, 8 hours of digital video or 4 PC games
  • Comes with Secure Zone software for Windows PCs that allows you to password-protect important files
  • Compact size and light weight ensures great portability
