Introduction
Computer cases or enclosures are one of the most important components in a system. Why? Because it keeps all of your system's hardware in place and protects them. That's probably why Cooler Master puts the tag "Guardian of your PC" on the box of their PC cases!
However, a case is more than just protection for our hardware these days. We want it to look nice as well. No one wants an ugly and repulsively-boring chunk of metal sitting on their desks. No, sirree!
Long gone are the days of the ugly old beige box. Our case must come with a nice color. It has to be feature-packed as well convenient and easy to use. In addition, the case should have superb cooling with looks to match. To top that off, even the case's material is a matter of importance for some people.
Most people prefer aluminium cases because aluminium is lighter than sheet steel. But it can't be too thin either or the case will become too flimsy. Brushed aluminum? Even better!
Today, we're going to look at a case that takes into consideration all of the points we just discussed. Yes, the focus of today's review will be the Cooler Master Praetorian (PAC-T01) Tower Chassis.
Cooler Master Co Ltd.
Cooler Master is no newcomer to the PC accessories business. They've been around since the 1990s and have been producing high-quality CPU coolers, computer cases, and other computer-related peripherals.
They started out as a thermal solutions provider. But like most other companies, Cooler Master has diversified itself into other products to meet the demands of the growing market for PC related items.
Cooler Master is based in Taiwan but now has offices in the United States, Brazil, The Netherlands, Germany, China, and Japan. They have three factories (one in Taiwan and two in China), all of which have received the coveted ISO 9001: 2000 certification.
With that short introduction on Cooler Master, let's get on with the review!
