Hit 'DEL' Message Display

Common Options : Enabled, Disabled

Quick Review

This BIOS feature allows you to control the display of the Hit “DEL” to enter Setup message during memory initialization.

When enabled, the Hit “DEL” to enter Setup message will appear during memory initialization.

However, if you enable the Quiet Boot BIOS feature, the message will not be displayed. So, if you want the message to appear, you will have to disable Quiet Boot as well.

When disabled, the Hit “DEL” to enter Setup message will not appear during memory initialization.

However, the “DEL” hot-key is still active during memory initialization. Pressing the “DEL” key during that period will bring you to the BIOS setup menu.

It is really up to your personal preference whether to enable or disable this BIOS feature. There is no performance advantage either way.
