Machine MAC Address
Common Options : Enabled, Disabled
Quick Review
This BIOS feature enables or disables the MAC Address Input BIOS option, which in turn allows you to enter or change the MAC address of the motherboard's onboard LAN controller.
The MAC (Media Access Control) address is a series of numbers that is used to uniquely identify a network adaptor and control its access to the local area network.
When enabled, the BIOS enables the MAC Address Input BIOS option.
When disabled, the BIOS disables the MAC Address Input BIOS option.
If you intend to use your own MAC address for the motherboard's onboard LAN controller, you should enable this BIOS feature. Otherwise, leave it disabled.
